how bigfeet works

Every night bigfeet checks online shoe stores for men's shoes in US sizes 14 to 17, then shows what is in stock and what it costs, in AUD. bigfeet sells nothing. Every Shop link goes to the store.

Where the deals come from

A program visits each store's website every night and reads its men's shoes in US 14, 15, 16 and 17: name, brand, colour, sizes in stock and price. In the latest check, 101 stores have at least one of these shoes in stock (91 in Australia, 10 overseas).

The last check finished on 19 October 2026.

How sizes are read

Stores write sizes many ways: "US 16", "16 US", "UK14 / US15", "EU 49 (US Men's 15)". bigfeet reads the US men's number from each label, so every shoe sits under one size: men's US 14, 15, 16 or 17.

Brands do not agree on what US 16 means in AU, UK or EU sizes. Check the brand's own size chart before you buy.

One card per shoe and size

When two or more stores sell the same shoe in the same size, bigfeet shows one card with the lowest in-stock price. Sold-out offers do not set the price.

Prices from overseas stores

Overseas prices are converted to AUD on the night they are checked. bigfeet keeps the same exchange rate until the real rate moves by more than 1.5 percent, so a price only changes when the store changes it or the currency makes a real move. Shipping and import costs are not included. Check them on the store's site.

Shoe types

Every shoe gets one of six types: athletic, sneakers, boots, work, sandals or dress. An AI model reads the product name and picks the type. If it cannot, keyword rules pick one.

What the sorts mean

How bigfeet makes money

It does not. There are no ads, no affiliate links and no paid placements. A Shop link opens the store's own product page. When you click it, bigfeet counts the click (which shoe, store and size) so it knows which stores help people. It does not record your name or email.

Frequently asked

  • Does bigfeet sell shoes?

No. bigfeet sells nothing. Every Shop link goes straight to the store's own product page, and you buy from the store.

  • Do stores pay to be listed or to rank higher?

No. There are no ads, affiliate links or paid placements. Shoes are ordered by the data (freshness, price or discount), never by payment.

  • How often do prices update?

Every night. bigfeet checks each store, then rebuilds the site with the new prices and stock.

  • Are prices in Australian dollars?

Yes. Australian stores list prices in AUD. Prices from overseas stores are converted to AUD when bigfeet checks them.

  • Which sizes does bigfeet track?

Men's US 14, 15, 16 and 17. Store size labels are read as US men's sizes, so a shoe labelled "EU 49 (US Men's 15)" shows as men's US 15.
